Introduction: After twenty plus years of being a licensed massage therapist, and my clients receiving “great therapy,” I have also seen patients experiencing complex multi-symptom issues. These can range from having migraine headaches, to gluten intolerance, fibromyalgia, and shingles after having a kidney transplant (which lasted three years!). And, there are other patients with issues.

After twenty plus years of being a licensed massage therapist, and my clients receiving “great therapy,” I have also seen patients experiencing complex multi-symptom issues. These can range from having migraine headaches, to gluten intolerance, fibromyalgia, and shingles after having a kidney transplant (which lasted three years!). And, there are other patients with issues.
Problems such as these made me realize that I needed to find something more to help them. I felt like I hadn’t helped them to the fullest extent possible. Then, I found the answer in reflexology.
Now, it has been three years since I found this modality, and became board certified. I’m excited to tell you about the benefits that can be received through reflexology.
The first thing that happens with a reflexology treatment is gentle acupressure from the thumb and fingers of the therapist, to unblock nerve impulses in the feet. There may be congestion in circulation in the client’s body.
Suddenly, the client realizes there’s a change in their body when that circulation breaks through the congestion, and blood and nerve impulses flow into all parts of their body. I realized that this congestion had been causing this newly found multi-symptom issues leading to disease.
After three years of providing reflexology to my clients, they say, after their treatment, that there is a “harmony” in their body they hadn’t experienced before. This enables them to function naturally at optimum capacity.
I feel that massage and reflexology are similar, in that the benefits for both fall into three primary categories: body, mind, and spirit, with each a part of overall well-being. Today, after reflexology treatments, the ‘well-being” part is being experienced as “feeling more energized, invigorated, and better able to deal with life’s challenges in pursuing goals and dreams.” “I feel Transformed! Refreshed! Revived! Lighter!”
This blew me away! My previous clients had never told me this before. I realized this makes me an instrument of healing. I am humbled and privileged to have the best clients in the world.
Thank you for your valued time to read this. God Bless You.
