Glenn and Genevieve Salazar-Werry are a husband and wife team, both licensed acupuncturists and board certified with the NCCAOM. Together they co-founded Laughing Tao Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, a wellness center focused on providing accessible, holistic Chinese medicine and acupuncture in Central Illinois. Laughing Tao’s mission is to provide care that empowers people to walk their own unique path towards health and healing.
Laughing Tao Acupuncture is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) care center that partners with local organizations to provide acupuncture free of cost at community events, as well as acupuncture on a sliding fee scale to those experiencing financial challenges.
Glenn and Genevieve specialize in chronic pain, mood imbalance, PTSD, fertility, hormonal irregularity, as well as sleep disorders, digestive issues, and migraines. They also offer nutritional consultation as well as Chinese herbal formulas. Cupping and guasha, as well as warming therapies, are included with all acupuncture treatments should the patient’s condition be indicated for the therapy.
